The Indian Cultural Society (ICS) of Multimedia University will be organizing one of its major events “Muthamizh Vizha” in the third trimester of the year of 2010/2011. In this event it will showcase the elements of Tamil literature, Tamil knowledge and also the richness of Tamil language. The event is mainly organized to test the depth of understanding of an individual in the various Tamil fields. We will be aiming students from both primary and secondary school who have interest in Tamil language and literature. We hope this event will be a beneficial one, as it will create awareness among us as well as others to appreciate our very own Tamil heritage. This would also provide a great opportunity for others to learn and get to know the Tamil world from an educational aspect.
Besides that, “Muthamizh Vizha” will also enable our students to showcase their talents in organizing and managing the event. This will be also an opportunity for them to show their leadership skills in organizing the event thus making the event a success.
